Warning Description: Coastal Flood Statement

Warning Date: 5:09 am EDT on September 3, 2010

WarningSum:...High Risk Of Rip Currents Today...

Warning Message:Even though lingering swells from Hurricane Earl will slowly
subside throughout the day...wave conditions will remain
favorable for a high risk of strong and dangerous rip currents
along area beaches as well as rough surf. 
To avoid being caught in a rip current...swim only at beaches
where lifeguards are present and never swim alone.
If caught in a rip current try to remain calm and signal for help.
Swim parallel to the coast until out of the pull of the current
and then return to shore.
